North East Amateur Radio Club

Do you live in Adelaide, are you interested in Amateur Radio, are you interested in learning about electronics, and radio communications. Would you like to meet with other people, who also enjoy Amateur radio, if so come along to North East Radio Club, we meet every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, young and old, male or female, it does not matter, you are welcome to join in and socialise, we also have the coffee club every Wednesday mornings at Tee Tree Gully Library, with other like minded people.

To get into amateur radio, you will

need a transceiver that works on designated bands, You can go handheld portable, work the repeaters, and also desktop, like this unit, your budget is your only constraint.

Want to learn more about Amateur radio, yes this hobby is well and truly alive, and more young people are getting into it. In Adelaide you have several clubs, I belong to North East Radio Club. which meets at the Modbury West Community Hall, corner of Wright Road and Capulet Crescent, Modbury.  Meetings commence at 7:15 pm, for a 7:30 pm start. You are welcome to come along and meet the members, always looking for new members, young and old, Male or Female

Are your kids looking for some creative educational fun, then if you live in Australia, take them along to either Jaycar, or Altronics, and have a look at the educational electronic kits they have on offer, and if you want to learn about radio communications, and live in Adelaide, come along to NERC and introduce yourself.
